Ryton & Crawcrook Albion were defeated 3-2 by Chester-le-Street Town on Tuesday night.
A penalty from Lee Waugh had given the visitors the lead after 10 minutes but the hosts equalised through Connor Shaw nine minutes later and took the lead soon after through Aaron Hardy.
There was a lifeline for Albion in the second half when Kealan Huddleston was shown a red card but Town extended their lead on the break through Shaw on 70 minutes.
A stoppage time penalty from Waugh pulled a goal back but it wasn’t enough to salvage a point.
RACA have back-to-back homes games next with Billingham Town on Saturday and Boldon CA next Wednesday.
