The Oldhaulage Stadium at Kingsley Park

A National Lottery grant in the mid-1990’s saw Ryton & Crawcrook Albion Football Club (then Ryton FC) move to its current home The Oldhaulage Stadium at Kingsley Park in Crawcrook, Gateshead.

Formerly of Crawcrook Albion FC for many years, the ground was officially opened in 1998 and an inauguration friendly match against a Newcastle United representative side attracted a club-record attendance of 1,100 spectators.

RACA HQ has one full-sized grass pitch and a main stand, which is overlooked by “The Albion” Clubhouse – consisting of the main social and bar area on the ground floor, committee room, administration office and kitchen area on the first floor, and changing room facilities to the rear. It is also served by a large car park at the entrance.

Thanks to funding from the Football Foundation and years of fundraising by the club’s committee and volunteers, the 3G all-weather facility – at the back of the Clubhouse – was completely rebuilt in the summer of 2020. The facility is used by all RACA members and the local community.

In August 2024, the club announced a transformative stadium naming rights deal with Blaydon-based Oldhaulage. The five-year sponsorship deal was the largest commercial agreement in the club’s 54-year history and saw Kingsley Park renamed as The Oldhaulage Stadium at Kingsley Park.
