Ryton & Crawcrook Albion were beaten 4-1 by league leaders Blyth Town on Saturday.
After a goalless first half at Gateway Park, Joe Gibson edged the home side in front just a minute into the second period. Brandon Slater then doubled the advantage 10 minutes later before Robbie Dale extended the lead from the penalty spot midway through the half.
Aaron Costello pulled a goal back for Albion nine minutes from the end but former RACA man Gavin Dick wrapped up a 7th consecutive win for Blyth in the last minute.
For Nathan Beckham and Andrew Waugh’s side, it’s a fourth defeat in six games. The defeat leaves RACA in 16th position in the table ahead of a home clash against Brandon United on Wednesday night.
