Albion welcome Grangetown Boys Club to the Tyne Valley on Saturday, the Teessiders first league away game since playing at Tow Law in mid September. Since then they’ve played four home games, winning two and getting a commendable 1-1 draw against Jarrow on Saturday gone which has helped Boysie pull away from the bottom two into the relative comfort of 17th place. This is only our fifth meeting with Grangetown, this being only their third season in the Northern League but we have won both previous encounters in NE40, winning 4-1 in 2024/25 and winning a much closer game last season by 2 goals to 1, both Louis Calvert and Louis Anderson netting for RACA that day. Anderson has served his one match suspension & is eligible for selection, but Ethan Bewley still has two games to serve of his three match ban and of course Scott Oldfield has retired. Kick off is at the usual 3pm & here’s hoping the recovery in form continues and we get a decent turnout in conditions that will be much kinder than up than they were up at Alnwick on Saturday. HOWAY THE RACA!
