Albion host Prudhoe based Newcastle University at The Oldhaulage Stadium on Wednesday evening in the third of a run of four consecutive home games.
Our recent record against the Uni is dreadful however, since beating them in the 2022 Ernest Armstrong Cup Final we’ve picked up one point out of a possible eighteen, losing the corresponding fixture last season 0-2. The Students are seven places above us in 6th place, but only three points better off in the congested mid table of Division 2, & a two goal victory in our favour actually would see us leapfrog them, so a win would project us right up the table.
If you’re planning on coming to cheer on the boys in black and blue, the kick off on Wednesday is at 7:30pm
