Albion hope to get back to competitive action where we last had a game three weeks ago at Bedford Terrace. On Saturday we are due to face the landlords Billingham Town hoping for a better outcome than we did against the tenants Yarm & Eaglescliffe on January 24th. Town had been on a decent run of four straight wins until Tuesday’s surprise 0-3 home defeat to Sunderland RCA, in which a victory for the Teessiders would have seen them move above us in the league. We’ve played Town 23 times in Division 2 fixtures over the years, and while we’ve suffered four pastings in that time, our best result was the 5-0 win at home in September, with Louis Anderson and Callum Johnston scoring a brace each and Jamie Poole’s own goal completing the rout.
